Bank of America shakes up management roles

Charlotte-based Bank of America Corp. (NYSE: BAC) is shifting some of its management positions. Joining the bank's management team is Katy Knox, president of U.S. Trust, BofA's private wealth management subsidiary, and Andy Sieg, head of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. They fill a role left by Terrence Laughlin, who passed away in October at the age of 63. Knox and Sieg now report directly to Brian Moynihan, BofA chief executive.
