Bank of Hawaii closer to exiting American Samoa

Since 1969 Bank of Hawaii has been serving accountholders in American Samoa but that is about to change. Bank of Hawaii and the American Samoa Government jointly announced exiting plans Tuesday for Bank of Hawaii to close its remaining operations in American Samoa on Aug. 16.
