Oportun Financial Corp., a startup that targets its financial services at people with little or no credit, filed plans for a $50 million IPO on Wednesday. The San Carlos-based company, once known as Progress Financial or Progreso Financiero, showed that its revenue grew to $497.6 million in 2018 from $360.9 million in 2017.
