General Motors Co. is nixing its Cadillac car-subscription service. The Netflix-like model for cars, which allowed subscribers to trade in and out of Cadillac’s 10 models as many as 18 times a year, launched in March 2017. It will shut down operations by the end of this year (h/t The Wall Street Journal). For $1,500 a month, users were able to gain on-demand access to vehicles without the negatives of ownership.
