Former Marquette coach, UWM grad Markgraf named GM of U.S. Women’s National Soccer

A former Olympian with significant ties to Milwaukee has been named the first general manager of the U.S. Women’s National Team, according to an announcement from Chicago-based U.S. Soccer, the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States. The U.S. Women's National Team is a four-time Women's World Cup champion, most recently winning in the FIFA Women's World Cup in France in July.
