Greensboro City Council approves up to $2.6 million incentive for ‘Project Thunderbird’

Greensboro City Council has unanimously approved economic incentives for an aircraft manufacturer at Piedmont Triad International Airport that pays cash to the as-yet unidentified company for each of the 1,761 jobs it plans to create. The incentive could be worth up to $2.64 million.
