Loudoun County approves $10M in additional funding for new Leesburg soccer stadium

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has approved an additional $10 million to cover cost overruns at the Loudoun United FC soccer stadium and multiple-tenant training facility in Leesburg. The additional funding comes in the form of debt the county will issue. Loudoun County will be responsible for debt service on $8 million, and Loudoun United and its co-tenants responsible for $2 million.
