Marquette alum donates $1M to support scholarships for first-generation college students

A $1 million donation to Marquette University will support first-generation college students majoring in journalism or studying in the College of Business Administration. The gift came from DaVita dialysis company co-founder Barry Cosgrove and his wife, Ingrid. Cosgrove graduated from Marquette in 1979 and was a first-generation college student, according to a news release.
