Oregon thermal imaging company Flir Systems, in buyer mode for the past several months, has revealed its biggest acquisition to date. Flir announced its intent to purchase Endeavor Robotics Holdings Inc. for $385 million. Endeavor, based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, was the defense and security arm of the company iRobot, which makes the robotic vacuum Roomba.
