Spirit AeroSystems Inc. is leveraging extra work done at the end of 2018 to help it meet the planned production increase on the Boeing Co. 787 Dreamliner.  Boeing is increasing the rate on the 787 early this year from 12 aircraft per month to 14.  But as a supplier that has to be out in front of that increase, Spirit’s CEO Tom Gentile said last week at a Cowen & Co. aerospace and defense industrial conference that Wichita’s largest employer is already producing the aircraft at the higher…
