Truist Financial’s pledge for Covid-19 relief climbs to $50M

Truist Financial Corp. (NYSE: TFC) doubled its pledge to $50 million for Covid-19 relief efforts. The announcement comes two months after Charlotte-based Truist — one of the largest banks in Central Florida — first set aside $25 million for the cause. The pledge is part of Truist Cares, which the bank set up in response to Covid-19.
