A scientist, professor and researcher at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is working with a team to develop a vaccine that could be used to combat the coronavirus. Dr. Axel Lehrer, who teaches at the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), is working with New Jersey-based biopharmaceutical company Soligenix, Inc. to develop potential vaccines.
