UTSA awarded nearly $4M from feds to boost Hispanic education

The U.S. Department of Education awarded more than $3.7 million to the University of Texas at San Antonio through its Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program. UTSA’s Academy for Teachers Excellence will team with Alamo Colleges District’s Northwest Vista College and use the funds to establish the Latino-Teacher Academy Learning Community. U.S. Rep.
